If we aspire to experience Life as Happy and filled with Love, then we need to recreate ourselves as a New Whole Human.
This means that we no longer entertain disjointed thoughts and convoluted feelings. Unbeknownst to us, we have been coded with Peace, Love, Happiness, Balance, and an Inner Knowing Presence. It is our birth right to have these. The feeling of Blissful Oneness. Unity.
Life happened. Our environment messed with us and covered up our original coding with codes of fear, unworthiness, trauma, shame, and hurt. So all we need to do is to uncover what and who we already are! The Process for rediscovering who we already are is best started by cleaning our thoughts and by adding a new Quality to them. The old structures, ways of doing things, and beliefs need to be scrutinized. Every thought needs to be captured. Is it working for you? Is it adding to your happiness? And I do not mean spiritual by-passing. If you find yourself with thoughts that focus on what’s not working, who is not treating you well, what is lacking in your life, you "only" need to produce better feeling thoughts.
How do we do it? By building new neuropaths, by training our RAS to filter and show what is already working and what is already good. This is done partly by training our brain and partly by connecting with our heart center. It is a sort of “identity training.” We no longer think the old way, like “ why do these bad things always happen to me? Why can’t I be more athletic/smart/beautiful etc?” There is no better or higher form of spiritual practice. Because no matter how much we try to manifest, do retreats, meditate, yoga, study scriptures, etc, if we have not considered taking the very first thought captive, we could find ourselves stuck. Anxious. Stressed out.
The very first step in creating a better life is to learn to control the mind. Yes, meditation and other spiritual practices can help us with this, but the main focus needs to be the GOOD Quality of our Thoughts. By practicing and exercising the thought process into a better-feeling thought we not only create new neuropath ways so our brain starts to notice more good, it also helps our vibration; the frequency hertz number to go higher.
We are human antennas. We send out our frequency and we receive the frequency that matches our hertz number. Thoughts of lack, judgment, hate, cynicism etc. create low quality vibe. Low hertz number. Thus our receiver in return gets more of what we put out. When we are stressed out, we disconnect ourselves from the Collective Consciousness where all the possibilities exist: the perfect solutions, synchronous happenings and happy surprises.
So, the first step to a better life is to exercise and build that spiritual muscle of noticing our thoughts. Knowing what those hundreds of thousands of thoughts everyday create in us. Do they build us or do they lower our vibe? It’s only through rigorous repetition that we can change the way we look at our lives, how we perceive events and other people. When we notice our negative patterns in thinking, or chaotic patterns at worst, the first step is to notice. Don’t judge yourself, but remind yourself that these thought patterns, assumptions and beliefs are learned. Yet our originally coded qualities are peace, love, harmony, laughter, balance etc. We need to work at getting back to what we were when we first arrived here!
In the long run, through perseverance and hard work, we will gain a new lifestyle. We’ll learn to look first at what is working and what is already good. Even when we have challenges, we will learn to modify the thinking to find silver linings. The ultimate prize for the hard spiritual-mental work is a whole new identity that is grounded in LOVE. The Universe supports us in this Process. We have to take the first step, but along the way there will be miraculous synchronicities and happy discoveries.
Since this Process helps us rediscover what we have been all along, we start to trust Life’s Power and will gain more courage as we know that Life supports us in all we do. This helps us relax into our own Authenticity. Then, we dare to express what we really want. People pleasing as the first choice of action disappears. This in turn teaches us to set boundaries because we have learned to love ourselves. This sacred work will bring us joy, courage, mercy, and forgiveness. All these qualities create more Peace and more Gratitude. It’s a Cycle and the end result is a higher vibe which shows up in everything we are and everything we do or create.
I want to emphasize the impact of our higher vibe in the results of our work—our projects and products. Everything we produce suddenly becomes more desirable and better appreciated by our family, peers, and even clients.
This is the Road to Oneness, to Unity, to Christ Consciousness. Our identity is anchored in the deep knowing that we are Light, Peace, and Love.
The foundational work is to change our thought process. Then comes letting go, surrender and emptying out if we so choose. Trying to surrender before the Quality of Thoughts is in place is futile at best.
As an example in my own life, I have been on a spiritual path since 2011. Only lately I realized it’s been as if I tried to climb the tree backwards. Mostly by meditation. How much easier it would have been to first train my brain to notice the good and what’s working, and coach it to filter out the negative?
In all honesty, meditation did help me realize I needed to change my negative thought patterns to better feeling thoughts. However, for years I was stuck in problem solving as it felt so gratifying to solve mine and everyone else’s challenges. Only lately, through a gratitude journal where I jot down every morning ten or more things I am grateful for, what is already working and what is good, have I realized that solving problems still contain finding a problem. I am now learning and practicing to reframe problems into challenges ( not even trying to find them!), and allowing myself not to continuously strive in this area. To relax and know I am already loved, happy, peaceful, joyful and courageous. That I don’t need any longer to show off and get patted on the back for being brilliant because that need stemmed from the feeling of lack of love and recognition.
Now I deeply know I am what I am. Nothing outside of me changes anything inside of me. I am LOVE. I am PEACE. I am JOY.
